Tickets are available over the phone!

Please make sure you read everything on the ticket page before calling. Thank you for being patient, one day I'll explain everything when I write my tell-all memoir. |
Updates, updates, updates
|
I'd like to take a moment and thank everyone who submitted films to our festival. The variety and quality of work we saw was truly inspiring...it gave me the strength I needed to finally quit my job and pursue my own artwork fulltime. ... I didn't quit. Health insurance, right? Anyway...thanks again, and hopefully we'll be seeing some artists, directors and animators at the screenings. Just say "Chris sent me" at the box office and you'll get nothing but funny looks. Good news: the schedule is up! Please take a look at what's screening this year and plan your viewing accordingly. The schedule can be reached by using the navigation bar at the top of this page or you can simply click these words. Clicking on thumbnail images or film titles in the schedule will bring up a synopsis and a director's biography. Or just visit the film information page. Ticket pricing and venue information is posted on the festival information page. Tickets are not for sale yet, but we will be selling tickets by phone starting in the beginning of September. I will be posting more information about ordering tickets via phone within the next two weeks. I'll be back soon with new information, new updates, new shoes and hopefully some fun surprises for everyone. |

Welcome to Asian Animation Film Festival
|
Founded by the Center for the Asian Arts and Media at Columbia College Chicago, the Asian Animation Film Festival (AAFF) is the first festival of its kind to be devoted to Pan-Asian animation. The event is open not only to Asian artists but to anyone involved in an animation that promotes Asian culture. By presenting films that are either related to the topics of Asian culture or involving an artist of Asian descent, the AAFF hopes to introduce audiences to a broader range of Asian animation while allowing artists to express the vast and diverse Pan-Asian experience. We invite you to join us as we prepare to launch this festival. |
